We are Aliens for America. 13 million of us who deeply care about American democracy. With lives, and jobs, and families. In a country we call home, belonging in America, from somewhere else. We cannot vote. But we can participate in democracy. Aliens for America. Unite! Our American friends need our help to exercise their right to vote. Lick the stamps. Hold a hand. Baby sit. Pet sit. Find the mailbox. Call it in. Get gas. Drive a voter to the polling station. Remove the couch from the living room. Turn off the tv and hide the remote.   • Be that amazingly nagging friend...
  • Ask your entire rolodex if they are registered to vote
  • Start the conversation at every occasion possible
  • Call friends your young friends 18-34, the ones who are the least likely to vote
  • Call friends in the swing states, who’s vote matter twice
  • Share that simple link to check if they are registered or not
  • Sit with them while they do it, go through the process with them
  • Follow through...

When We Should Do It

Register BEFORE OCT 1ST

Voter registration deadlines for the general election range by state from 31 days before an election to in-person on the day of the election. So let’s just use end of October 1st as our own deadline to be safe. Get as many friends registered as possible by then!
